The Las Vegas Strip did just enough to sneak past the Oakland Acorns, 5-4, at Oakland Ball Park. Las Vegas center fielder Keith Edwards, in particular, had a standout performance. Roberto González came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. Even with the win, the Strip have a dismal 15-48 record.

Edwards broke a deadlock in the top of the ninth inning, when he hit a sacrifice fly, putting Las Vegas up, 5-4.

"I had a good game," said Edwards. "Winning makes it even better."
