The Houston Lone Stars defeated the Denver Grizzlies, 2-0, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series. Doing his part was starter Larry Adams, who threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball. The win moves Houston into a 1-1 tie with Denver in the series.
