The Sacramento Ironhorse picked up a win at Ohlone Park, downing the San Francisco Seals, 3-1, in 10 innings. On the mound for Sacramento was right-hander Arthur Wise, who played a pivotal role in the win. Sacramento reliever David Williams was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Lee Graves. The loss makes San Francisco 2-6.

Francisco Rivera had a direct impact on the outcome. Rivera contributed a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put Sacramento up, 3-1.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said San Francisco manager Jamming Econo.
