Salt Lake City, Sacramento Swap Players Monday, January 11th , 2016 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Locusts announced today the acquisition of 22-year old minor league 2B Haden Wilkinson from the Sacramento Ironhorse in exchange for 27-year old C Orlando López and $800,000 in cash. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Locusts, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." López has a career .264 average with 261 hits, including 62 doubles, 8 triples and 3 homers, collected 97 RBIs, scored 68 runs and compiled a .293 OBP. |
