5-for-5 Day for Hill Thursday, April 16th , 2015 It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Jay Hill of the Las Vegas Strip. The Las Vegas third baseman gave it his all and dominated Dallas Eagles pitching at Burnett Field, finishing with a great 5-for-5 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Eagles going home the winner, 10-9. "There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Hill said. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead." Jay Hill hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Hill is batting .385 with 0 home runs and 5 RBIs this season.
