He easily handled Oranges pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Miners triumph, 12-5, at Alumni Coliseum. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Valentín's quip, Oranges skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Keith Valentín hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
