Ramos Shuts Out Monks Thursday, May 28th , 2015 Jesús Ramos hurled a fine game for the Memphis Chicks at Ballpark of Memphis, holding the Vancouver Monks to 5 hits in a shutout win. "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Memphis manager said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." The right-hander had 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 4-0 victory. "An outstanding job," Vancouver manager said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam.
