López Swats 3 HR Against Memphis Sunday, August 17th , 2014 Fresno Arktos center fielder Roberto López had a magnificent game against the Memphis Chicks today, rocketing three balls out of Ballpark of Fresno to help the Arktos take the 6-4 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, López went 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Fresno manager said later. "Seems like Roberto found his home run stroke today." Roberto López hit a solo-shot off Aurelio Hernández in the 1st, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Aurelio Hernández in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Alan Ackland in the 8th. López is batting .247 this year with 25 home runs, 68 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He has 112 hits in 454 at-bats. |
