PCAA Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Friday, September 5th , 2014 Lorenzo Moreno of the Hutchinson Salt Hawks said he never set out to win the Pacific AA Reliever of the Year Award this season, but he'll certainly take it. "2006 was a pretty good year for me, that much is obvious," he said. "This is icing on the cake." The 31-year-old out of Ensenada, Mexico fashioned a 0.82 ERA this season over 110.1 innings of work. He made 56 relief appearances and had 8 saves, 174 strikeouts, 23 walks and a record of 7 wins and 3 losses. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Allen Fields of the Ontario Beavers finished second in voting, while Carlos Hernández of the Calgary Cowboys finished third.
