Memphis Advances to Round 2 Tuesday, September 16th , 2014 The Memphis Chicks have advanced to the Round 2, but know the toughest challenges still lie ahead. "Our work is just beginning. It's not going to get any easier from here on in," said Ray Foster, who earned MVP honors in the Round 1. The Anaheim Mice were eliminated 3-1, with the final game being a 1-0 victory for Memphis at Ballpark of Stockton. For the series, Foster had a 0.00 ERA, with 8 strikeouts over 9 innings pitched. He also had a 1-0 record. The Memphis Chicks will play against the Butte Miners in the next round. Butte won their series against the Santa Barbara Foresters 3 games to 1.
