Medrano Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, July 2nd , 2016 Francisco Medrano of the Baton Rouge Red Sticks extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 6-5 triumph over the Amarillo Cowboys at Baton Rouge Grounds. "Francisco has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Red Sticks manager joked after the game. Francisco Medrano flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
