Wang Swings Ironhorse to 8-1 Win
|
Behind the hitting of Tso-lin Wang, the Sacramento Ironhorse stopped the San Diego Breakers, 8-1. Wang was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 for the Ironhorse. The second-place Ironhorse now sit at 25-17.
With Sacramento leading 4-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Wang hit a forkball from Jesús Herrera for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Ironhorse ahead, 8-1.
"I thought we played a nice game," Wang told the Sacramento Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
