Hollywood Makes It 7 Straight with 5-4 Win
The Hollywood Stars faced a tough opponent in San Bernardino pitcher Francisco López, but found a way to pull out the victory at Perris Hill Park by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings. López went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Tom Walker picked up the win in relief. Chris Thompson took the loss for San Bernardino. The wins continue to add up for Hollywood. The latest makes it 7 in a row.

Roy Thompson went 1-2 with a double for Hollywood. The 27-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Chris Thompson. It was his 12th RBI of the season.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Scott B, the Hollywood skipper.
