Delaney Lifts Silver Sox to 6-2 Triumph
Reno first baseman Culley Delaney helped his team beat the Austin Cowboys, 6-2. Delaney, who finished 2nd in the PL in runs with 107 in 2010, went 3 for 4 for the Silver Sox. Reno is now 38-33, Austin 37-34.

Second Baseman Dave Shaffer made an impact for Reno, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Rafael Infante in the top of the third. For the contest, Shaffer went 1-5 with a double.

Shaffer said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
