Long Beach parlayed a decent outing from starter Julián Rodríguez into a solid win over the Mexico City Aztecs. The final score was 6-5. Long Beach is now 37-42.

Ming Loong was the walk-off hero for Long Beach. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ports first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
