Aztecs Earn 5-4 Win Versus Rainiers
Sick's Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Mexico City Aztecs and Seattle Rainiers.

The Seattle Rainiers got a superb performance from pitcher Martín Sánchez, but the Mexico City Aztecs still won the game, 5-4. Sánchez threw 8.1 innings allowing 4 runs. With the win, the Aztecs sit at 78-62.

Mexico City used the timely hitting of Adolfo Napoleoni to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Aztecs on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We did enough to win," said Napoleoni.
